Chan Dan Ya is a geological phenomenon located in the Guizhou province of China, it literally translates as «the egg-laying cliff». Two films came out of my visit there in 2019.
And if left off dreaming about you... is a poetic and enigmatic meditation on the origin and potential this mountain holds. The video is projected on the ceiling as an oval image, allowing for the body to feel it’s gravity and the eggs to appear as part of a waking dream. But whose dream is it ?
